Helium Router is Helium’s robust LoRa Network Server (LNS) backend, designed to facilitate seamless management of LoRaWAN devices within decentralized networks. Configurable via a user-friendly CLI, Helium Router supports major LoRaWAN versions (1.0.2, 1.0.3, 1.0.4) and diverse regional frequencies, enhancing global operability. The server features a modular architecture powered by Docker, enabling streamlined setup and deployment using docker-compose. Metrics collection is integrated via Prometheus, with further analysis supported using Grafana. Data retention and logging are efficiently managed to maintain system integrity. The project repository on GitHub provides extensive support for full-stack LNS deployments and configuration tailoring. For production environments, images are hosted on Quay.io, ensuring reliable and scalable infrastructure solutions.
