Trin is an experimental Rust-based client for the Portal Network, a project currently in the research phase, designed to prototype and refine the Portal Network specifications as they evolve. As Trin is still under active development, it lacks comprehensive data validation and is not suitable for production use. Users can get started quickly by referring to the Trin book, and must initialize Git Submodules when cloning the project. Developers and contributors are encouraged to engage with the project by filing bugs, contributing code, or enhancing documentation, following the contribution guidelines outlined in the Trin book. Additionally, the community is invited to join the conversation and collaborate via the Trin Discord channel.
